The Recon Battlepod is by far has to be the toughest one I've dealt with. Two major challenges came up while trying to get it together. There are three small pieces that glue onto the main body of the pod near the bottom and going up. The top one of these three I wasn't even able to get off the sprue without it breaking. I decided to just cut my losses and leave it off, its so small that it doesn't really stand out as missing. Second was the piece that contains two antenna together as one which slides into a slot near the top left side of the main pod body. Or at least it's supposed to. I wasn't able to get it to fit nice, and settled for 'good enough' after carving out the slot a little more. By the look of the piece there's only one way it seemed to go and I couldn't for the life of me make it fit without some modifications. Anyone else having issues with this?

I had the same experience with the Recon Pod. I managed to get everything together without breaking anything but that antenna mounting is not pretty. I've got one more Recon Pod to assemble and I'll do a better job on it since I know what problems I will be encountering.

Ditto here. Only broke the afore mentioned piece that goes in the top. Had to trim it to fit. Ended up taking a bead of glue and placing it on the broken antenna so that it has that rounded shape on the end.

I have a Dremel tool and green putty. I may try a more "invasive" fix on my next Recon pod's antenna mount.
The antenna on the Officer's pod is also a challenge to remove from the spruce.

A lot of prople, including myself, had the same issues. The consensus on the double antenna piece on the right is not supposed to be flush. Some have cut it down to fit.
And that flap is tough. Most people leave that part off.

Yeah that officer's pod antenna was a pain. that came off fine for me though by gently sawing with my hobby knife rather than using the usual clippers, but even that method didn't help that most fragile piece on the recon.

So I sat down to paint this figure tonight and discovered I was still missing a piece. It was the circular add on to the lower left of the main pod. I'd overlooked it cause the assembly instructions show the piece as already being attached to the main pod. I guess this evens out the Tomahawk instructions that show the arm as coming two pieces instead of one. Fortunately the before mentioned part was still on the spru. I'm sure by now most of you have already discovered this, but if you haven't done the recon pod yet keep an eye out.

Yes, I have one model without the piece and I had already tossed the sprue when I discovered the error on the last two model I put together. I Might try to green stuff it, but having a little hole there doesn't bother me too badly.

I also had issues last night when I built it, broken antennae, even after being careful with the first sprue snip. I had set the parts aside to re glue together but soon thereafter they were lost to the ether. The tiny parts have not bothered me too much, but the two handed guardian and battloid holds I cannot seem to get right.

I'm about to start building mine. I tried to paint the pods today but the 70% humidity, the 50 deg weather and the rain just had my paints going crazy. So I take it that I should be very careful with the antennae so I don't break it.
