I'm wondering what some of you are doing as far as variant choices for your builds. I know a core squadron is 1x VF-1J and 3x VF-1A. And I know you can add a VF-1S and pairs of VF-1As. Is there no option to add additional VF-1Js? Was thinking to the later episodes where you had Rick in an S, and Max and Miriya in Js all together. I guess with a total of 9 VFs this could be done.
Anyway, thoughts on how to build your sets?

I plan to magnetize some veritech heads so I can have different builds. A couple different options to magnetizing the heads; you could add a bit of brass rod that can slot into the neck depression after drilling a hole since it doesn't technically need a magnet. You could also just have some standard 1A's and use a token to denote which is a 1J, 1S, or 1R.

I made some custom cards with a single VF-1J add as a support option just like a VF squad of 2 VF-1A's.

I'm going with the magnetization that Popatachi suggested. Not sure how many to magnetize and how many to just glue up as 1As though. And the fighter modes probably won't be magnetized, I'll just use a counter of some sort.

I was originally planning on magnetizing the heads but they are too small for me. Plus with a showdown, figure I just might have enough, lol.
