So, we cannot really depend on Palladium Books or Harmony Gold for that matter, to keep Robotech going. Despite some of the drama, it still has good memories for me. I think what paused/stopped much of what I was doing was because there seemed no way forward with getting the remaining models for the game. Through various means, I now have (I think) all the models I want/need to have a "complete" game. So now, barring the usual shiny distractions in general hobbies, I can proceed with Robotech.
How about anyone else still listening: where are you at with Robotech miniatures never mind RRT in general? I do not want to lie to folks and say I will post stuff up "soon" or say I am "98% done" but would sure like anyone to describe or take pictures of their progress. It may give a boost to those on the fence on proceeding or not.
My only problem is making / buying enough bases to match my miniature count.
Anyway, it may be a good idea at this point to see what is all out there with the fans. My kids just discovered D&D 5th ed so I have to DM/GM for a bit, but figure RRT will fill in between preparing fantasy figures... You never know, they may figure the models are cool enough to want to play.
Take care.

My only problem is making / buying enough bases to match my miniature count. I turned up some files on Thingiverse that are a pretty good match for the RRT bases. I'm mainly filling in the missing Zentraedi amd padding out destroids with 3d printed models, except for some of the 'hero' units - I'm buying those from Kids Logic. I have the UEDF more or less set, most of the Zentraedi playable (especially once the FPAs arrive), and I'm waiting to get a computer working to kitbash destroids and pods for the Malcontents. It's really disappointing to see how badly Palladium messed up, considering I can use a cheap printer to do up the minis they were apparently completely unable to publish.
