As with the above; Testors liquid cement in the black diamond-shaped package with metal pipit applicator has worked fantastic for me for assembling the ABS used for the minis. Far, far easier to get the needed tiny amount of glue in the right place, without all the stringing and ooze the tube-cement tends to do. I use the brush/jar liquid cement for a few things, and CA glue for a few others (mainly mounting magnets).
I haven't done any basing yet, so I can't vouch for its interaction with the different plastic used for them.
