I was wondering if anyone has tried using a hex board with RPG tactics. I know hexes have limitations, but I think it will make games go by faster. This is crucial if I want to get my boys excited about the game.
I just found this site...it's been pretty useful for me already in my kit-building. |

I havn't tried it myself but I don't see many issues arising from it. Instead of measuring, use the hexes as your measurement for moving and shooting, dependant on the size of the hex I imagine.
It would definitely make the measuring portions easy as you just count your hexes in whichever direction you're going.
