Scenario 2 was lots of fun with terrain for cover. I think next time we will make more of the buildings soft cover instead of hard cover. I didn't take any notes but did take a few pictures.
Turn 1: Zentraedi win the initiative. Squad 1 advances forward and takes cover behind the hospital to wait.
The UEDF activate their 2 VF-1A’s in fighter mode and advance forward firing at the Zentraedi behind the hospital with their missiles. Cover and anti-missile take care of most of them with one pod taking a single missile. After rolling and sharing damage two pods take two points of damage. The fighter mode VF’s then continue forward and end their turn near the first Zentraedi squad.
The second Zentraedi squad activates and moves forward and splits into two groups of three pods. One group takes cover behind a high rise and the other behind the restaurant restaurant. One pod is in range of the first two VT’s and fires scoring a hit and after rolling and sharing both take one point of damage.
The squad of 1 VF-1J and 1 VF-1A activate and move up in Guardian mode and use a destroyed building as cover. They each fire a salvo of missile. The 1J targets the pods behind the high rise and the 1A targets the pods behind the restaurant. Cover and anti-missile takes care of the missiles fired at the pods behind the high rise and one pod takes a hit behind the restaurant and again two pods and up taking two points of damage.

Turn 2: The UEDF wins initiative and the Zentraedi try to steal it and succeed. The UEDF rolls to stop them and also succeeds. The two VF-1A’s move first. Transforming into Guardian they move to surround the pods behind the hospital. Without the benefit of cover and surrounded all 6 pods take hits. After 6 anti-missile rolls only 3 pods take hits two pods roll and share the damage with the third that was already damaged and the Zentraedi take their first casualty.
The first Zentraedi squad then activates and turn to face the VF’s firing their main weapons and auto cannons. Almost all their shots hit and the VF;s take heavy damage with one down to two hits and one down to four hits.
The VF-1J and 1A then go. They hold their ground and fire their missiles again. The 1J fires all four at the only pod it can see but it anti-missiles them out of the air. The 1A splits it’s missiles among the other three pods and one takes two hits and goes down leaving the other two untouched.
The second squad of pods then activates and moves up firing at the VF-1J and 1A. The light cover helps but both end up taking damage.

Turn3: The Zentraedi win initiative and The second squad of pods fire at the VF1J and 1A but cover and successful dodge rolls keeps them alive.
The two VF-1A’s fire their last salvo at the pods by the hospital. All five remaining pods take hits but 4 of them succeed at their anti-missile rolls. Two pods split the damage and all five survive but are badly damaged.
The first squad of Zentraedi then activates and exact their revenge on the 1A’s destroying both.
The 1J and 1A shift their positions slightly but maintain their cover and fire their last salvo at the advancing Zentraedi. Luck is with the Zentraedi today and after anti-missile rolls and roling and sharing damage all the remaining pods survive with one or two hits remaining.

Turn 4: The UEDF goes first and the 1J and 1A transform to Battaloid to take advantage of the added gunnery and each rapid fires their GU-11’s once. Three hits are scored with total rolls of 6,8 and 9. It seems like at least one pod is going down but the pod that had to beat a 6 makes its dodge roll. After rolling and sharing nearly all five of the remaining pods from squad two are down to one hit.
The pods then activate and use accurate , focus fire, close formation and 5 command points to fire all three weapons at the last two VF’s. Nearly every weapon hits and with only two command points remaining the two VF’s simply can’t avoid enough to survive. The Zentraedi win the game.
