Who went?
How did the first largeish tournament go?
I have been looking for a write up everywhere I can think of, but can't find any. Details please.

The date changed at some point just weeks or less before the event, so unfortunately I didn't know I'd be able to go. Huge bummer. I found them playing on Saturday though, so I snapped some pics. Turns out the day was Zentraedi... ...versus Zentraedi... ...versus Zentraedi... ...versus Zentraedi... ...versus Zentraedi! There were eight players I believe, and everybody brought Zentraedi; quite a wacky phenomenon! That rocky moon table was brought by game designers, and I chatted with them a while about the game, progress, and where things are going. They said they were so busy, they didn't have a chance to walk over to the event to check it out! It seems to have been a decent success, though I didn't stick around for it.

Ha! Crazy!
I LOVE the Glaug taking out a pod though. Whoever made that did an amazing job, even if the paint job is lacking in depth (and the Glaug is missing it's fiddly bits).

I wonder if that was because the Zentraedi were the only things able to be built and painted in time? Maybe the next tournament will see some UEDF.
Or does the regenerate ability really make Zentraedi that much better?

They discussed it, and it via feedback, most people were scared of the damage output of the UEDF, so they went for limitless numbers.
