Haven't played 40K in a few years but still have my Marines and a small Tau army. I also have a bunch of 1/600 aircraft for Check your Six! Not many people play mini's up here in the northern Mich area.

Me... well I'm a fanatic and a hoarder that started in college back in the 90's. I mainly paint and convert things now but infrequently I play:
Games Workshop (all factions for): 40k, WFB, ManOWar, Adeptus Titanicus, Warmaster, Necromunda, BattleFleet Gothic, Mordheim
Historical Gaming (using a multitude of rules although Piquet (Classic and FOB style) and Warmaster Ancients/Medieval are personal favorites due to streamlined play. Periods played range from Ancient Egypt, Dark Ages, Medieval, ECW, SYW, AWI, Napoleonics, FPW, WWII. Favorite period to play is SYW (Seven years War). Scales played for these periods include 6mm, 10mm, 15mm and 28mm.
Infinity (most factions)
Eden (all factions)
Dark Age
X-Wing
20+ Different Board Games from things like 'Star Wars:Imperial Assault' to the 'War of the Ring' to old Avalon Hill games like 'Kingmaker'.
and I'm really looking forward to Star Wars Armada for a new Capital ship combat system.

Battletech, mostly collecting minis now, dabbled a bit with Star Blazers, and Warhammer 40k with a Terminator and 1 Dreadnaught collection I later gave away.

I haven't found someone else to play most of these games in years, but here's what I have:
-Arcane Legions (Egyptians and Romans, although I can make a full army of the Greek subfaction units.)
-Battletech (I've been playing this one for almost 20 years.)
-Earth Reborn, a post-apocalyptic skirmish game that never made it past its $100 starter set. This game is Advanced Squad Leader-level in terms of complexity; it actually comes with a book of about 10 linked scenarios that gradually introduce the rule system to new players.
-Heroclix, Mage Knight, Mechwarrior... just a ton of old clix figures. I was really into Heroclix, actually, until they started releasing a set every month and changing the rules every year. I also have boxes and boxes of Pirates of the Spanish Main and Star Wars Pocketmodel.
-Heroscape
-Monsterpocalypse is probably my favorite competitive miniatures game; I have multiple tournament lists for the Martian, Dinosaur, Mazinger Z, Cthulhu, and Space Monster factions.
-Uncharted Seas, a fantasy naval combat game; I have Human and Dwarf fleets that I won at the first TheWarStore.com Convetion, but the game died before I got around to painting any of them.
-Vor: the Maelstrom. The less said about this game, the better.
-Warhammer Fantasy (Brets and Orcs)
-Warhammer 40k (Necrons, a few Space Marines, and 5000 points of painted 'Nids, but I haven't played in almost 10 years)
-Warmachine (Menoth and Cygnar)
Right now, though, I tend to mostly play Sentinels of the Multiverse, because you can find 2-3 other people who want to play it at basically any game store.

I was a big 40K player for abut 20 years (Orks, Dark Eldar, Eldar and Tyranids). Now my wallet can't keep up and I refuse to give GW anymore money. I also played some WFB (Orcs and Goblins & Dark elves) but gave that up when 8th edition came out a few years back. I also dabbled in Warmahordes for a few years but never really fell in love with it.
Currently, I play RRT, X-Wing and Bloodbowl.
I have been tempted to start Dropzone Commander and Dreadball but have not taken the plunge yet simply because I have not found anyone locally who is into those games.
