This came up as a discussion point in the GU-11 thread (thanks to those of you who participated- especially for Mike getting an answer from PB staff!) and I think it is worth putting out here should errata or revisions actually come about. The main issue is the amount of missiles that can be fired- mostly on UEDF mechs but some Zentreadi and many future mechs. It seems that there should be a mechanic to allow a 'full volley' or 'max volley' or something similar for VF-1's, Phalanx, Spartan and other mecha that have large missile capacities, especially those that are visible (not a launch-tube style like on the Gnerl or FastPack add-ons). Why make a package called 'Daedelus Attack' if the rules don't allow you to execute it!?! My initial thought was that those should have been treated as 'Volley x' weapons from the get go. After some thought (and no play testing, mind you) perhaps it would be better to make missile weapons that fire in volley 'rapid fire x' so you could spend command points to launch multiple volleys as a single attack. I'd love to hear feedback form others and see if anyone else would have time to test variants for power balance!

I think that allowing it would be interesting. You could only hit a few targets anyways since you can only hit your primary target plus targets within 2 inches of the primary target so regardless people would not fire more than 4-6 missiles except on bonzai occasions. I'm not sure how it would alter balance overall though since UEDF would likely benefit more than the Zen forces.
