Ok,... Possibly a stupid question:
What is the difference between Line of Sight (LoS) and Field of View (FoV)?
I have read the rules and the wording seems very similar between the two. Also, so far, I've only noticed that the rules call for instances when you need to check LoS. When would one use the FoV rules?
Could someone please clarify the difference, if any?
Thanks!

Field of View is your "front firing arc", so to speak. Normally you can only shoot something in your Field of View (unless you have rear firing weapons). Line of Sight means that you can actually see the guy you're shooting at.
Edit: I'm gonna amend my answer right now. I skimmed the rules quickly and I think I was wrong.
Right now it looks like the only difference is that you draw Line of Sight to another mecha. Field of View refers to drawing Line of Sight to a *point*. So if I was going to shoot Blast Missiles at a spot on the ground, it's called "Field of View". If I shoot Blast Missiles at a Zentraedi Battle Pod, it's called "Line of Sight".
