Many years ago I began collecting these brand of figures so I could add them to some Wizkids Clix bases from Mechwarrior Dark Age, customising the stats and being able to finally have a table-top Robotech game. Well after that project reached about 90% completion the RRT Kickstarter opened up and I have a dusty box of these things. I was thinking that I could, instead of letting them slowly disintegrate in a closet, paint them as 'hero' figures. The figures are noticeably taller but by only a little bit. Have a unit with a named character in it? Whip out the larger unit to make it stand out!
