Here's my storage solution. I got these Sterilite totes idea from Wild Scar and these work great! Sterilite Totes from TargetFrom Home Depot I picked up: Galvanized roof flashing. 10' x 10" ~ $10 Snips ~$10 Duct tape ~ $2 Glue ~$2 The container is roughly 10" x 13" but the bottom is slightly smaller. I cut the sheets to 9 3/4" x 12 3/4" and flattened them by rolling them around a gallon paint can. Apply duct tape to one side and fold over to dull any sharp edges. Add glue and press down with weights. I added blocks underneath the container because it has small corner legs that won't let the bottom sit flush. I let it sit for 24 hours. And the finished product. It's working great with my test models.

Correct. I've got magnetic sheets and rare earth magnets depending on the miniature.

"Finally! Gamers have a use for weights!" lol, yeah, was wondering if I accidentally clicked over to a weight lifting forum. Thanks for sharing popatachi! If I weren't so thumb-inclined, I would consider doing this. Also, not sure I want to splurge on magnetic bases. Glad it's working for you, though.

Are you feeling the burn!!!
Thanks, I found magnetic sheets at Michaels for ~$10 that I believe will cover all the bases. So it's not too bad.

Wow, that is cheap! I swear, everytime I walk into Michael's (crafting store in the States) I never find what I want. I think I need to do go in and perform a random walk and see what pops up.
