3 hours to clip, trim, and assemble a recon pod, glaug, and recovery pod.... can we shank the parts/sprue designers on the recon please?

Yes... yes we should. In all seriousness, a lot of the thinking behind the design of these kits have me scratching my head. How hard would it have been to just follow Games Workshop style when planning the kits out.pieces are easy to understand and the number of parts is relatively small.

Daredevil, it wouldn't have been hard to use a GW style layout, but it would have been more expensive. Palladium definitely went with the less expensive type of sprue. Of course they could have used an easier layout.

Layout aside.....there are parts that could have been molded TO the body. They did a couple of spots like that already so why not the others... *sighs*

Lik ethat small piece for the cockpit shield on the battloid? Pain in the rear. Even with tweezers I had a hard time getting it to stick.

Completely agree, there was absolutely no need for the cockpit shield on the battloid. At least none that my rational mind can see.

That piece I went thru and clipped out of all the sprues and glued to appropriate locations while the body was still on sprue. Cause as long as it took me to find the first time I didn't want to try and look for it years from now when I get to other valks.
The recon antennas I'm not a fan of, nor the antenna for the Glaug. Other than those things I have few other complaints. Oh yeah, the standard valk missiles probably could've been one piece too. Have to say tho, quite pleased with standard battlepods.
