Anyone else pick this up? Core helixes finally got released and I assembled mine today. Assembly is minimal, glue a handful of infantry on bases legs on walkers that's about it. Should be ready to paint, tons of texture so drybrush in will be easy.
Rules look good of you like spartans mechanics. I enjoy the exploding dice mechanic but some don't.

I play dystopian wars and firestorm armada so it wasn't a giant leap. Haven't played a game yet but I've had the rules for about a month and I like it. Generally the make or break for most people is the exploding dice mechanic. In planetfall if you roll a 6 on certain dice rolls out counts as two hits and/or you get to roll that dice again. You end up getting those moments where you hit a much larger target with a smaller target and end up doing serious damage! I've seen some funny stuff but I don't take my gaming that seriously so I enjoy it.
