Never noticed this one when I watched Macross 0, any ideas on what I need to do to convert this? Seems like the easiest conversion from the ones I've looked at. The proportions look off from the VF-1's, but I am not sure it is a difference between the actual VF-1 design or from corners that were cut when Palladium designed the miniature.
Also, anyone know what size the Zentraedi infantry are supposed to end up as? Not sure I plan on using the actual models for a ragtag Malcontent force.

The VF-0 is a lot bigger than the VF-1. Assuming you're sticking with Macross canon, anyway. The VF-1 Valkyrie is actually quite a small aircraft - everyone compares it to an F-14 or an F-11 but it's really almost half that length. The VF-0 Pheonix, on the other hand, is about the same size as the F-14. Here's a size comparison in Jet Mode: Now, if you wanted to do a delta-winged VF-1 (or declare that in your setting the VF-0B is about the same size as the VF-1), you'll probably have to cut new wings out of sheet styrene. Personally, I'd be inclined to do a VF-1B, a delta-winged version of the VF-1, so that I didn't have to futz with other details. I'd use the line art for the VF-0B as a guide for the wing shape, and leave the rest of it intact. I'm crap at scratch-building, though, so I won't presume to give advice on how to actually make that new wing. But yeah, I'd leave off the wings for J and G modes, and cut off the B mode ones, and scratch build new wings and canards. As for the Zent infantry, I've no idea what the actual plan is - though if they stick with the Macross official height of 10 metre tall Zentraedi, the mini should be almost exactly 3.5 cm tall.
