So using the Open Hands technique from the other thread, I decided to use my 'spare' battloid model to make an objective marker for capture missions. I think it turned out nicely. Didn't have any extra 'deployed' (folded out) gunpods from my Spartans, so I took a 'stowed' pod from a Jet Mode valk (replaced it with an arm mount stowed pod, looks fine), chopped the end off and replaced it with a 'deployed' end from a spare two-handed pod.

Extremely nice objective, Galahad. I may steal this idea I like it so much.

Go for it! Gotta do something with that 6th battroid model, right?

I agree. This is really an excellent idea and very well done. Inspiring!

Glad you like it. It's really easy technique once you try it. just take a pair of jet or guardian mode 1S head lasers, file the flat sides so they're at less of an angle, glue them together, clip one rounded edge off to serve as the edge of the hand, leaving the other round edge as the base of the thumb, then you just score joints with nippers, bending as needed clip the fingers to the right lengths and build a thumb out of the cut ends. Presto, 5-minute hand

I don't really paint so there probably won't be any 'finished' shots, but I should get around to doing some battle damage at least.
