Its from the links shared in the thread here for links to terrain sites.
I did the resized DZC a while back. These are all Sarna and another site in that thread. Just using standard cardstock.

I'm gradually building the Sarna buildings as well as the DZC resized versions, all on cardstock. I like them both a lot. There are a few other sites out there that have 1:285 scale paper buildings as well. I also downloaded this model building software: evandesignsmodelbuilder.com/ For 40 bucks it's not too bad. You can pick any scale you want. I decided I wanted some BIG buildings, so I've messed with it and have experimented with putting together some multi-page skyscrapers. I'm not 100% happy with the results yet (too big and they don't want to stand up, even with cardstock), but I think I will be able to get it right with a little practice. I also bought one of these: www.ebay.com/itm/EMPIRE-STATE-BUILDING-DOMUS-KIT-4-6-HIGH-SCALE-1-300-NEW-IN-BOX-/371167958563?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item566b559623#ht_525wt_1430 I thought it would make a good centerpiece to my table. Then I realized it will be over 4 feet tall once I assemble it.

Hey brian; if it's feasible, start building the empire state from the top. After about two feet, (or whatever you want) start adding the bottom. It may not be a perfect replica, but who gives a rip. It would still look cool. Also, I don't think a four foot tall building would stop me from playing on a table.
