I realised I can post pics much easier here now I'm using Tapatalk! First up is my first Zentraedi Recon Squad.. I wanted at least one swuad in the standard white/blue, and ready for the first scenario if/when I finally get to play it.    |

My current WIP is these VF-1A Brownies that will be Max's squad. They've taken a back burner to my Battroid Attack II project but I found the perfect brown.  |

My Hawk Wargames widgets came in, so I stuck some on Rick & the Brownies tonight. I've got my Fighters on the highest poles, with Guardians about 40% that heights, and characters raised slightly higher in each category so they'll stand out in the squad.   No actual painting update I'm afraid, my backs giving me too much trouble, but my Miriya custom job can be seen on the far right of the top pic (on temporary poles), I'm undercoating her for my wife tomorrow and hoping to do some touchups on Max & Rick, Ricks Guardian & Fighter look pretty mucky and don't really match his Battleoid at the moment. |

A bit more cleanup, I fixed the cockpit on Max & Rick and brought them both back to a base colour after my first attempt at the highlight failed, and did my first round of white cleanup on the Brownies. I also brought everyones missiles' base colour into line with my overall paint scheme. Cockpits Base Cygnar Blue Highlight First tint 2BB Trollblood base Final tint 2BB White Missiles (Body) MSP Alien Flesh (Officer Tips) Red? (Regular Tips) Yellow? Max Blue mix MSP Sapphire Blue/V Dark Prussia Green mix MSP Pure White/MSO AlienGoo Brownies MSP oiled leather    |

That is some very fine painting, sir! I love the rainbow one! Was there a rainbow theme for the painting contest? My friend and thought there might be but then we got distracted and never found out. I'll admit I'm not a fan of the Z-scale stuff, it's way too big, but it does work well in that battroid's pose. |

Haven't had a chance to put paint on models in a month, but I did get some re-basing done this morning with some clear bases a local lasercutting company did up for me.  |
